Grab JetComp.exe when you get a chance. This utility is invaluable. It will remove dead space in your databases and reindex them for greater speed. Save it to your Windows directory so that it can be easily run from the Start button.

Inforad makes a great little pager program named Watch-IT that we can use to send messages to a text pager from inside CST. The web address is www.inforad.com/demos.html to go straight to the Watch-IT program.

Download Slice to split a large file into small pieces on multiple floppies. Slice is a DOS program and only understands short file names, but it works great and is very tiny. If you need to compress data and move it on to floppy disks (like moving data from one computer to another), WinZip (above) can do both in one step and has a much more modern interface.
